Procession of the troops; guns with bayonets on the shoulder, carts having numerous officers. King Albert Ist and the Queen Elisabeth, two young children (LEOPOLD and CHARLES) on horseback, with their sides. Horses himself impatient. The sailing ships at the edge of water near the shore. The villas at the beach edge. Explosions in the trenches. Soldiers are cold, they carry scarves. Infantrymen ravel. The countryside afflicted in winter, the destroyed buildings. Officers visit woman and children in front of a house. Woman carries a shirt maker with handles long, a tie, and a cap. An officer takes in his arms a small boy dressed with a sailor costume, two small girls carry short dresses with handles and berets. SUR LE FRONT BELGE. 2 boites. Descriptif : Un soldat debout sur la plage, sac au dos, tient à deux mains un drapeau qui flotte dans le vent. Défilé des troupes ; fusils à baïonnettes sur l'épaule, charrettes devant de nombreux officiers. Le Roi ALBERT Ier et la Reine ELISABETH, deux jeunes enfants (LEOPOLD et CHARLES) à cheval, à leurs côtés. Les chevaux s'impatientent. Les voiliers au bord de l'eau près du rivage. Les villas en bord de plage. Explosions dans les tranchées. Les soldats ont froid, ils portent des écharpes. Les fantassins défilent. La campagne désolée en hiver, les bâtiments détruits. Les officiers rendent visite à une femme et des enfants devant une maison. La femme porte un chemisier à manches longues, une cravate, et un chapeau. Un officier prend dans ses bras un petit garçon vêtu d'un costume marin, deux petites filles portent des robes à manches courtes et des bérets. La bonne porte sur une robe noire un grand tablier blanc, la bavette a la forme d'un coeur, impeccable, elle tient un panier entre les mains. Une route pavée et des ruines. Tirs au canon dans les tranchées. Les soldats font une pause, ils boivent au goulot de leur gourde. Le passage en revue des troupes par la famille royale sur la plage. Le Roi est au premier plan.
