REGION PUBLISHING OF LILLE. Free British ceremony. British decoration handing-over in LILLE. Sir Oliver HARVEY, Ambassador of ENGLAND in FRANCE attended the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the LILLE issuing by the English troops at the time of the 1914-1918 War. Sir Oliver HARVEY who made the First World War as an English soldier and took part in this release had to give to 55 resistant of the region of the decorations granted by the government of His Majesty for services rendered during hostilities. The Distinguished Service Order and the King Medail were given to these men and to these women who better than any treaty have, by their action and their sacrifices sealed the existing moral union between GREAT BRITAIN and FRANCE.

Sir Oliver HARVEY qui fit la première guerre mondiale comme combattant anglais et participa à cette libération devait remettre à 55 résistants de la région des décorations accordées par le gouvernement de Sa Majesté pour services rendus au cours des hostilités. La Distinguished Service Order et la King Medail ont été remises à ces hommes et à ces femmes qui mieux que n'importe quel traité ont, par leur action et leurs sacrifices scellé l'union morale existante entre la GRANDE BRETAGNE et la France.
