BELGIUM On the Belgian front: balloon pilots. Description: About fifteen soldiers go in the grass, in uniform, they carry their bags and their guns on the back and hold an airship (balloon), to far building with other soldiers. The bags of light are scattered on the soil. Soldiers from behind advance, they hold each one a rope connected to the oval airship which is in air, soldiers bring back the nacelle on the ground, two soldiers jump outside, they carry leather jackets, gloves and bunches, two other soldiers take theirs stand. An enormous airship comes out of a large tent drawn by soldiers, they fix a nacelle. 6 horses draw a cart charged with a very heavy machine that one sees functioning. First World War. War of 1914-1918.

BELGIQUE Sur le front belge : les aérostiers. Descriptif : Une quinzaine de soldats marchent dans l'herbe, en uniforme, ils portent leurs sacs et leurs fusils sur le dos et tiennent un aérostat (ballon), au loin un bâtiment avec d'autres soldats. Les sacs de leste sont éparpillés sur le sol. Les soldats de dos avancent, ils tiennent chacun une corde reliée à l'aérostat ovale qui est en l'air, les soldats ramènent la nacelle au sol, deux soldats sautent dehors, ils portent des vestes de cuir, des gants et des bottes, deux autres soldats prennent leurs places. Un énorme dirigeable sort d'une grande tente tiré par des soldats, ils fixent une nacelle. 6 chevaux tirent une charrette chargée d'une machine très lourde que l'on voit fonctionner. Première guerre mondiale. Guerre de 14-18.
