FRANCE, EVIAN. Hospital of Croix Rouge American. Description: Two small boys and one young woman look at a light van which stops in front of staircase steps. The ambulance men helped by the driver bring out a stretcher. A soldier carries a child on an arm, of the other a baby wrapped in a cover. Woman carries a baby in his arms. Young woman, the covered head of a scarf also carries a baby in the arms. It is surrounded by children. The oldest door a baby. A small girl, naked chest are sitting in a bed with bars in front of the window. A surrounded doctor of a nurse and of another doctor examines his back. It makes the grimace. On a large terrace above a garden, children are sitting in chairs, lengthened legs protected by covers: they eat, the base placed on the knees. Children are wounded: bandages, bindings around the head or on the nose. A girl in a higher bed, a young boy laid on a cant board eats lengthened. Nurses, children's nurses and a soldier help all these children. Inside, other children are confined to bed. A nurse takes a pulse, another other speaks to a small sitting girl in her bed, long hair and node, she holds her bather (headstock) very against it. FRANCE, EVIAN. Hôpital de la Croix Rouge américaine. Descriptif : Deux petits garçons et une jeune femme regardent une fourgonnette qui s'arrête devant des marches d'escalier. Les ambulanciers aidés par le chauffeur sortent un brancard . Un soldat porte un enfant sur un bras, de l'autre un bébé enveloppé dans une couverture. Une femme porte un bébé dans ses bras. Une jeune femme, la tête recouverte d'un foulard porte aussi un bébé dans les bras. Elle est entourée d'enfants. La plus âgée porte un bébé. Une petite fille, torse nu est assise dans un lit à barreaux devant la fenêtre. Un médecin entouré d'une infirmière et d'un autre médecin examine son dos. Elle fait la grimace. Sur une grande terrasse au-dessus d'un jardin, des enfants sont assis dans des fauteuils, jambes allongées protégées par des couvertures : ils mangent, l'assiette posée sur les genoux. Les enfants sont blessés: pansements, bandages autour de la tête ou sur le nez. Une fillette dans un lit plus haut, un jeune garçon couché sur une planche inclinée mange allongé. Des infirmières, nurses et un militaire aident tous ces enfants. A l'intérieur, d'autres enfants sont alités. Une infirmière prend un pouls, une autre autre parle à une petite fille assise dans son lit, long cheveux et noeud, elle tient son baigneur (poupée) tout contre elle. Les infirmières de la Croix Rouge sortent d'autres enfants d'un camion. Hôpital pour enfants. Première guerre mondiale. Guerre de 14-18.
