FRANCE. Chinese manpower in LE HAVRE. Description: A train is stopped on a liver iron-shod in a station. Passengers look at by the window a group of Chinese men, young people who go up in a truck. They carry caps, beret or peitts Chinese caps. They go along the wall of a factory. The interior of the factory, they assemble wooden boards with mallets. They pass long wooden boards on a wheel, they are placed on a travelling carpet inside the factory. Manufacture of cases. The foreman's orders. Manufacture of crates by women. FRANCE. Main d'oeuvre chinoise au HAVRE. Descriptif : Un train est arrêté sur une foie ferrée dans une gare. Les passagers regardent par la fenêtre un groupe d'hommes chinois, jeunes qui montent dans un wagon. Ils portent casquettes, bérêt ou peitts chapeaux chinois. Ils marchent le long du mur d'une usine. L'intérieur de l'usine, ils assemblent des planches de bois avec des maillets. Ils passent de longues planches de bois sur une roue, elles sont posées sur un tapis roulant à l'intérieur de l'usine. Fabrication de caisses. Les ordres du contre-maître. Fabrication de cageots par des femmes. La pause : les asiatiques sont assis, ils boivent à la bouteille et fument.
