FETE OF THE VICTORY. PREPARATIFS OF THE MAJOR DAY. Description: PAIX street flags. Above the poster: registration: "Gloria victorius". On the poster the drawing of one of a soldier who holds up his cap and that of another body in withdrawal, "they were had". American, French, English flags to the balconies. Garlands decorate the street. Steps are installed in front of the Grand Palace, soldiers bring boards. Accumulation of wheels and of pieces of guns (barrels, etc.) forms a kind of overcome sculpture of a cock under of Champs Elysées. In the content, the Triumphal Arch along the street large surmounted flag masts which float. Cars circulate, soldiers and pedestrians cross anywhere. The Triumphal Arch is surrounded by the crowd, below, important scaffolding covering a statue. Shot of a group of men: soldiers and civilians who hold a paper roller to the hand. FETE DE LA VICTOIRE. PREPARATIFS DU GRAND JOUR. Descriptif : Drapeaux rue de la paix. Au dessus de l'affiche: inscription : "Gloria victorius". Sur l'affiche le dessin d'un d'un soldat qui brandit sa casquette et celui d'un autre corps en retrait, "on les a eus". Drapeaux américains, français, anglais aux balcons. Des guirlandes décorent la rue. Des gradins sont installés devant le Grand Palais, les soldats amènent des planches. Un entassement de roues et de morceaux de canons (fûts, ...) forme une sorte de sculpture surmontée d'un coq en bas des Champs Elysées. Dans le fond, l'Arc de Triomphe le long de la rue grands mâts surmontés de drapeaux qui flottent. Les voitures circulent, les soldats et les piétons traversent n'importe où. L'Arc de triomphe est entouré par la foule, dessous, un échafaudage important couvrant une statue. Plan d'un groupe d'hommes : soldats et civils qui tiennent un rouleau de papier à la main.
