La guerre civile en ESPAGNE. Près de BAGNERES DE LUCHON, des centaines de miliciens franchissent la frontière pour se réfugier en FRANCE. Petits groupes de miliciens marchant sur des chemins pyrénéens, atteignant le Fort de VENASQUE. Là, ils sont fouillés par des gardes frontières français et sont contraints de déposer leurs armes. Réfugiés dans une rue de la ville. Le Chef de la 10è division stationnée sur le front de HUESCA, maintenant en exil, qui sort d'un hôtel français. Des miliciens, dans un camp de fortune, sont assis.
